Malcolm Kronby is counsel at Epstein Cole and a family law specialist certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC). Since 1965, his practice has focused almost exclusively on family law, encompassing nearly every aspect of the field. He has served as counsel in over 100 reported decisions at trial and appeal.

Additionally, by private or court appointment, Malcolm acts as a mediator and arbitrator in family law and estate matters. He has been admitted as a mediator/arbitrator member at the ADR Institute of Ontario, Inc. He has also worked as a consultant to the Department of Justice on federal-provincial child support legislation and regulations, and amendments to the Divorce Act.

In 2001, Malcolm received the Award for Excellence in Family Law from the Ontario Bar Association (OBA).

For many years, Malcolm has been an instructor in family law for the Bar Admission Course. He continues to serve as a guest lecturer at Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Toronto. He is also the author of several books, including Guide to Family Law and Canadian Family Law, now in its 9th edition, and numerous articles.

Malcolm is very active in continuing education and committees, working with LSUC, the OBA, Insight, Canadian Institutes, and the Advocate's Society.

Malcolm was called to the Bar in 1959, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1978. He is a member of LSUC, the OBA, the Advocate's Society, the District of York Law Association, the American Bar Association (Family Law Section), and the International Society of Family Law.
