Sheila Gibb is a partner at Epstein Cole with a focus on family law.
Prior to joining Epstein Cole, Sheila was a corporate lawyer in the New York office of a leading international law firm. She practiced in the area of securities law, specializing in cross-border capital markets matters.
Sheila also wrote and presented the National Association of Women and the Law's submission to the Government of Canada on pay equity law reform.
Sheila completed her law degree and a Master of Arts degree at the University of Toronto. She studied international law for one semester at the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law. Sheila received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Saskatchewan.
Sheila is a member of the New York State Bar (since 2002) and the Ontario Bar (since 2006), and is an Executive member of the Family Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association. Sheila is also a member of Collaborative Practice Toronto.
Sheila is on the Board of Directors of the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, which provides integrated legal, counselling, and interpretation services for women who have experienced violence.
Recently, Sheila was cast as Helena in Nightwood Theatre's 2010 Lawyer Show production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
