Andrea Caskey is an associate at Epstein Cole with a focus on family law and mediation. She advises and represents clients with respect to property, support and child-related issues. She has had extensive experience dealing with high conflict custody/access disputes and works closely with outside professionals, including mediators and parenting coordinators, in order to address and resolve parenting issues.
Ms. Caskey worked at the London Family Court Clinic and the Office of the Children's Lawyer. Following her Articling Year, Ms. Caskey was chosen to clerk for the Chief Justice of the Ontario Court of Justice before commencing her litigation practice, with a focus on Family Law and Mediation. Ms. Caskey obtained a Certificate in Mediation Fundamentals in 1996 from the Mediation Academy and is presently enrolled in the part-time LL.M. Program, specializing in Alternative Dispute Resolution (at York University). Ms. Caskey has also completed the Advanced Collaborative Family Law Training Program. She is a member of the CBAO (Mediation and Family Law Sections), as well as the Advocates Society and the Collaborative Family Law Association of Ontario - Toronto Group. She is a frequent speaker at New Directions - a Resource Centre for recently separated, divorced or widowed women.
Ms. Caskey graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1986 with a B.A. (Honours Psychology) and from Queen's University in 1989 with an LL.B. She was called to the Bar in 1991.
